A Few Tid Bits About Texas Bow hunting
- Bow hunters should ask about Russian hog hunting at these various ranches! Monster mean hogs.
- Most exotic hunting in Texas is done safari style or by stalking the game on foot.
- Although not suited for bow hunting, Texas offers some of the best bird hunting. Hunting dove and quail makes for a
relaxing side trip.
- Very, Very few ranches will allow the super exotics like Bison and Water Buffalo to be taken by bow. Odds are you
will tag one and be charged for a kill but never see the animal again (unless you are using a VERY big and powerful
bow... lol).
- Hogs are much more of a challenge thank most think: Bow Hunters have a tough time hitting and killing these strong
animals.
- When deciding on a ranch make sure to ask about the Bow Hunting records recorded on that ranch.
